Sky Zito - about the artist

Sky Zito has played throughout the U.S. In various original and cover acts ranging from solo acoustic gigs to full scale rock shows. He has played as a session musician in countless projects involving both local and national acts in Boston, New York and L.A. He studied at Berklee College of Music and has personal letters of recommendation from Joe Stump (World Renowned rock guitarist/head chair Berklee faculty, as well Mark Baxter (voice instructor, author of âThe Rock-N-Roll Singer's Survival Manual.â Although best known as a guitarist, Sky also plays drums, bass, and sings. Thanks to the magic of recording, all of his music his performance on every instrument.

Sky has been teaching guitar and music theory lessons for the past eight years. He has taught over 250 students as well as written a book connecting music theory to the fretboard entitled âEternal Creation: A Guitarists Gateway to Songwriting.â He is currently residing in the L.A. Area.

âMy Kind of Prettyâ is the commercial debut from artist Sky Zito. The seven-song album showcases Sky playing every instrument in an eclectic mix of original music.
