Doug & Vicky have been rocking together for 31 years in Phoenix, Denver and Southeast Iowa. Rick decided to get serious about his music in 2005 and began to write again. Debbie has been involved with music in one form or another for many years, but began to play keyboards a few years ago. All searching for the right sound, and found it in Static Paradise. In the fall of 2006, the band bought a TASCAM DP-01/FX digital portastudio, and began to record the songs that have become their first album, Pop the Cork. The process was a fun endeavor. The writing is fueled by current events, memories of long ago and everything in between. The essential element of the music and the band is they believe their songs are unique and entertaining. Added to that, is the fact that it was created by family and that makes it even more satisfying. We hope you enjoy Static Paradise.
