Veteran Status is a brand new indie acoustic band from NorthWest Pennsylvania. Doug and I have been good friends for years and we've always made plans to start playing some music together and have finally gotten around to it.

Doug provides the creative side to most everything we do. The lyrics and music are his. I am mostly responsible for turning his creativity into something that, hopefully most people would consider, decent sounding music.

We are both really excited about recording more songs and playing more shows in the near future.

I (Doug) am a graduate student at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I am receiving my teaching certification. I own a motorcycle and enjoy riding on the weekends. I've been playing the guitar for about 12 years and I most enjoy writing music. It helps me express what I feel, and hopefully it can make others feel something too.

I (Brian) am a full time student at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, a forensic accounting major. Yeah I'm a nerd like that. I've been married for almost 4 years. Well 4 years in March anyway. My wife Deisree and I have 2 kids. Our son, Christian is 3 years old and our daughter Summer is 1.
