What a fun album this was for Vocal Vanguard to record. Riley, Vocal Vanguard vocalist, wrote nearly all of the songs one morning at home on his computer. He simply sat down and started writing about whatever was on the top of his mind. The songs started to form. Riley had interest in recording an A Cappella album and he thought the lyrics would be perfect for that.

Recording started in early February of 2008 at Rileyâs mothers home. She was the one with Pro Tools and other recording equipment. Riley has had some training in recording from college and knew how to operate the equipment. There was a nice microphone nearby the computer that Riley used for the album. Track by track, sound by sound, Riley recorded the album. It was a tedious process was but very fun and rewarding. During the process of recording âSUPER MUSIC DOLLAR VALUE MENUâ, Rileyâs recording skills improved to deliver a better sounding crisp sound on the tracks. He tried to mix up some of the genres so they didnât sound all the same.
