Wayne's connection to music was sparked at an early age when he began taking piano lessons. Thought his feet could barely touch the floor, his ear was keen, and his imagination was great. By the time he was a teenager, he had already composed several instrumental pieces for piano and was eager to test his skill as a singer/songwriter. There was no turning back, as he found double the pleasure in communicating his thoughts and emotions through words and music.

Many songs later, his dream of recording a CD has finally come true and he is eagerly walking into the next stage of his performing career. "Testify," his debut CD released in August 2007, marks the starting point - eleven original songs that showcase his abilities as a singer, songwriter, and pianist, and above all, words and melodies that will connect with people. The songs, often inspired by his faith in God or observations on life, invite the listener to ask questions, ponder answers, discover new things, or simply indulge in the beauty of life.

Wayne graduated university with a Bachelor of Music degree, majoring in piano and voice performance. He plays several other instruments, including oboe and has performed with touring choral and wind orchestra ensembles throughout Europe, Canada, and the United States. He maintains a private music studio where he teaches piano, voice, and theory.
