Fort Wayne, Indiana is not the ideal place for a power metal band to thrive. But in 2005 a band formed with the intention of pursuing the melodic side of metal. Tired of death metal and hardcore, Zephaniah was interested in bringing a new style of music to the Midwest music scene. What emerged was indeed a unique sound, combining influences from classic metal bands such as Iron Maiden and Manowar with more modern European-influenced sounds. Zephaniah is making a name in the region and creating a lasting impression among fans.

With soaring dual guitar harmonies, powerful singing and complex shredding riffs, Zephaniah have claimed their fansâ hearts with songs of pirates, dragons, and the power of metal. Well-known in the area for their highly energetic live shows and outstanding musicianship, these five young men have gained respect from their fellow metal bands as well as venue owners and promoters. The band has no intentions of slowing down and continues to book shows in venues around the midwest.
