The Flesh Hammers are based in Reno, NV. The band includes veterans of the L.A. and Seattle scenes. The band formed in late 2003 and has exploded on the Reno and San Francisco scenes with a vengence. They also play throughout Nevada and Northern California. 2005 saw the release of their debut album, "Riding Dirty". Their sound is hard to describe due to the many influences that are brought together. "Mostly, we like to rock! We do a lot of songs featuring machine gun chords with biting lyrics and scorching solos. However, we can do a lot of other things as well. We play a surf instrumental, we do a song in Spanish, we even throw in an occasional ballad" The band has a song on a new compilation album soon to be released on Face First Records. The band continues to play live shows while begining work on a follow up album.
