Details:
Fur Lined Volcanoes is a North Carolina based band that formed in the Spring of 2000 when Peter Spivak and Neal Goode moved to Winston-Salem.

Band members come from a wide variety of backgrounds creating a unique blend of Blues, Latin, Folk, Funk, Jazz and Rock influences.

This eclecticism is complemented by thought provoking and insightful lyrics delivered with the soulful emotion of Spivak's distinctive voice.

"Band on Fire...the stylistic signature in the music is quite singular and original...The songs have hooks--'Simple Pleasures', the title track, fashions a funky, indelible guitar lick out of chord fragments--and the album rocks hard atop a folk-blues base on such tunes as 'Fate is Coming'"
