Fly was originally formed in February of 1999 in Flint, Michigan, by original members; John, Reuben, and Eduardo Guerra. What started as an idea with a big dream and lots of big goals, quickly developed into an all out effort to form a great Rock Band.
The original concept was to form a band around their strong musical and vocal abilities. FLY first began to practice as a 3 piece band, and that's right, John, Reuben, and Eduardo played all the instruments.
It was finally realized that more members were need to capture the sound and quality necessary to provide optimum performance standards. Bassist, Jeff Brownlee, Drummer Fido Kennington, and Lead Guitarist, Keith Fleetwood were then added.
Longtime Drummer, Jason Duncan, eventually replaced Fido as the drummer, we now welcome to the line up Mike Oostermeyer on drums and percussion(welcome mike). As for lead guitar James Morgan assumed the position of Lead Guitarist in 2000. James Morgan parted with Fly in January of 2004.
Bassist, Jeff Brownlee, parted with Fly in 2001, and was replaced by Bassist, Chris Morden. Fly would remain in tact for the next 2 years until Chris Morden's departure in 2003. Bassist Britt Hancock replaced Chris Morden. Jeff Brownlee replaced Britt Hancock in 2004.

Through the many changes, FLY has been able to maintain the same high level of quality in performance. This is largely due to the undying commitment to excellence. Focus has always been FLY's best ally.
Fly has spent the last 5 years performing mainly as a cover oriented band, in all the largest venues all over the USA. From Flint, MI to Key West, FL, Fly is considered one of the most highly reguarded performing bands in the Nation. Largely due to the incredible high energy performances to standing room only audiences.

CURRENTLY:
In January of 2004, FLY decided to step away from the stage, and a grueling performance schedule, to concentrate solely on the completion of the upcoming
FULL LENGTH DEBUT ALBUM, appropriately titled; "FLY"

This is the next step for FLY, and a long awaited project from fans all over. FLY released the album on Feb 5, 2005 @ "THE MACHINE SHOP" in Flint, Michigan. With Regional Releases throughout the nation.
