Each song draws it's inspiration from an imagined (or channeled...you decide) scene. These themes, as summarized below, are evolved with melody and rhythm structures that will sometime relax and at other times move you, as they simultaneously convey their uplifting 'higher frequency' message. Feel free to first read and then listen to several samples, as there is plenty of thematic variety.

The Gift:
The Gift of renewalâ¦from the gentle rainâ¦the calm before the stormâ¦lightning strikes, the thunders rollâ¦finally, the return to a purified tranquil state.

Earth:
The Earth is alive with the âbreathâ of wind and pulse of the moon driven oceanâs ebb and flow. Nature abounds. The tribal drum beat of life is a rhythmic trance in harmony for those who have ears to hear.

From the barren Earth the sand storm obscures everything. Then as the dust settles, the birds return and the mirage opens a glimmering view; an oasis that exists only in the imagination.

Roma:

Spacial Affect:
Space is the final frontier. Through the Hubble telescope we see distant nebula. Shades of 2001: A Space Odyssey, our voyage tracks the melody of a star system.

East Meets West:
Rudyard Kipling is recorded as saying âEast is east and West is west and never the twain shall meetâ. That was then; today two worlds with their ancient traditions are blending of necessity. The world once thought to be âflatâ is metaphorically becoming flat as the information age allows us to know all of itâto see as if on a vertical plane to the ends of the earth.

Atlantis Calling:
There is evidence from before recorded time of a place and advanced civilization lost beneath the Atlantic Ocean. Could they have survived? About the artist-- I'm Mike Balzotti and no newcomer to the world of music--evidenced by a first-time release in 2002 of an album that I recorded with a group known as The Bards in 1968! (Go to bardsmusic.com for more on that story and an amazing CD). I performed for many years, and was fortunate to have a few "charted" records. Through the years a major sustained interest has always been the recording studio & the ability to "make a thing"-- to develop musical ideas and make them come alive.

In today's "digital world" there is the "vanity" of being able to compose, perform, arrange, engineer, produce, publish and distribute globally--essentially by yourself. As a young man who had to "sign his life away" for the opportunity to simply record in a professional environment (Capitol Records) 35 years ago, frankly, I am amazed that this is possible. Anyway, the love of music, the desire to "listen" for those melodies--then, to "manifest" them, is to me a "spiritual experience"--a great joy & passion......and something I truly hope "resonates" with you!
