Dawn Woods is a singer/songwriter/producer , CEO of LaDaJeMS Media & Marketing LLC (independent record label) and owner of DawnWoods.com. She holds a bachelors degree in Economics from University of Cincinnati. She also attended Northwestern University (majoring in Economics) and Oberlin College(Dance). She currently serves as a Marketing Leader for a regional health care company in Cincinnati Ohio.

Previously, Dawn was the V.P of Sales and Marketing for Schaefferâs Investment Research, a Cincinnati-based investment newsletter publisher. She is a member of the Urban League â African American Leadership Development ClassX. She is also active in various community organizations and events including volunteering as a United Way Community Impact Review Committee member.

In 2006,, she received the distinguished honor of being selected to the 2006 Forty Under Forty class selected by the Cincinnati Business Courier that recognizes 40 community leaders under the age of 40 that are making it matter in the Cincinnati Community and abroad.

She was also recently honored by being asked to be on the board of the Tom Geiger house a highly regarded organization for women and children needing housing after escaping abuse or other issues that may result in homelessness. Her acceptance on the board is currently in process (March 2008).

Musically, Dawn has performed in various venues including venues abroad. She serves as the executive producer for the âStrongâ project and is a co-producer and co-writer on most songs on the project.

Dawn is passionate about making a difference in peopleâs lives through her music of inspiration and hope. She blends her influences of R&B, Hip/Hop, Jazz, Pop, Rock, and Gospel to deliver a truly unique sound that seems to captivate individuals from every walk of life.
