Fantazma began playing music at an early age but it wasn't until around 1996 that he realized what kind of music he wanted to create. He was captivated by the island sounds of dancehall reggae and hiphop. His influences were Buju banton, Wayne wonder, T.O.K., Nas, Wu-tang,Tony Touch, Big Pun and others. In 1997 he began rapping in spanish and combined his english lyrics to provide a spanglish style. His love for music grew and his passion was felt from the very start with every verse. He started blending different elements of music to create his own style and from there he realized his calling was to create a new and orignal form of music. He began combining Reggaeton, hiphop, Dancehall, Techno and more. The dark side of love Called his name and he responded. Fantazma was born in a world caught between the darkness and the light. He represents a balance of energy. Living in the shades of grey, he has found a way to express himself through his music because he is undefined, free to create what others are to scared to even try. His new album "Los Romanticos del Reggaeton" is his first production officially released and shows his versatility in music. Every song has a different and unique style with an urban twist.
