I started really young with Acting. I always had a feeling performing was my calling since I was like 5 and then when we moved to Orlando so many more opportunities were made available and I dove head first into studying the craft and never looked back. I then got heavily involved with musical theater after performing in A Christmas Carol. That led to being in the hugely popular local group Civic Kids which quite honestly changed my life. I was really exposed to music and dance with the group and before I knew it music had become just as important to me as acting. I was later accepted into Dr. Phillips High School, one of the top performing arts high schools in Florida. There I was really able to hone my craft and surround myself in an intense creative atmosphere and with young adults who were just as passionate as I am with the arts. Upon graduation I was accepted into UCLA's Theater, TV and Film department where again I worked on my education as both a scholar and an artist. Education has and always will be important to me as both a human and an artist. I graduated in 2005 with a degree in Acting and jumped right into what I do best, working. Did a film with Luis Mandoki (Trapped, Message in a Bottle) several plays, a role on NBC's Windfall and most recently I toured with the National Broadway Tour of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning phenomenon RENT. Upon my arrival I home I knew it was time to get into the studio and start working on my demo. After working with the band Incendio on the original musical Possession: The Legend of El Rojo, I knew they were the ones who would give me my sound. Never before had I heard such beautiful, authentic sounds and rhythms from a live band and I had a gut feeling if we blended my sound, with their sound, we would create something truly special and original. Truth be told I think we did just that with the first song âCloserâ. Fun, sexy and full of Latin rhythms, it is unlike anything on the radio right now. So as I continue to work on the rest of the demo and then shop it around for a deal, I look forward to sharing the gift of music with anyone and everyone.
