In March of 2005, Mark put an ad on craigslist for a collaborator. jennifer responded to the ad, and after a series of conversations and working sessions, they decided to work on a full length CD. Mark's previous credits include entamoeba, Inglas, and his own Particle Salad project. Jennifer has been a guest artist with Love Spirals Downwards.

The music on "Late Bloom" can best be described as alt-acoustic, similar in flavor to Beck's "Sea Change," Hem, Zero 7, etc.
