Most of these songs are derived from older or more primitive versions or albums of punk wrapper (group name). Mr. material is the only rapper so far he remains to be seen but has many names like Terrence Thompson is the producer, graphic designer videographer or whatever so who gives a crap its all about the music. A sort of a jack of all trades, however this would have not been possible with out various Evanston printers or music lessons at music institute of therapy (fine tuning of tracks guitar lessons performance etc) These songs were placed together from albums like Leopold and Punkwrapper (the album) and ad libs and recollections or other albums that didnât make. Most of the drum beats and bass lines did not come from a drum machines they came from garage band and other computer sound modules like software or minidisk players etc. Later on I started to grow shy of samples and I used an electric guitar in between a drum and bass loops like the song exclusive on- no exit (the album). Like when someone says ahh haaa you donât have an 808 or a big goofy drum machine you can say garage band is cool and you donât have too wake up the whole neighborhood laying down drum tracks or spending extra money on cords or some piddly shit like I went shopping or I had to fix my amp or I had too drop my sony mini disc player too learn the hard way like three the hard way. So what I built was a mini portable sound studio with an old guitar amp and a mac laptop.
An old mic and some percussion itâs fun to put things together to make weird efx noises like ruining water or like the beastie boys pauls boutique with the ping pong ball or some old rastafarian stuff to make little nuances and vocal hooks.
Several musical influences came into play for outta sync each song has itâs own flavor unlike other dancee rap anthems that stick in your brain. Outta sync has an starkly original flavor. almost too smooth.
That it seems to be over and you say oh let me listen to it again. Which is better than some played out dance track with rubbed off record stickers. Itâs more like okay what is he really trying to say. Six albums albums later and Iâm still trying to tell ya, I tell ya. Back too influences I really like jr. gong an what the Marley family does they to know how to collaborate well and some body like Henry Rollins or the pil with Johnny Rotten or something poetic just something that stands out from the pack. Itâs like this

What I have done Is too start a revolution in music to try an add some old rap cuts an add a punk mentality, going against the grain
And or pushing the envelope with out licking the stamp. As to say not to go all the way and still call it hip hop. Punk wrap might be a sort of cheesy way to describe what I do but I think it fits well cause Iâm not all the way punk or all the way rap so it fits there right in the middle.
