Songwriter/singer with a special sultry & emotional style of Country/Blues, Americana and Smooth Jazz. Started playing the organ by ear and sang in church choir at 13, then formal instruction in clarinet and saxophone at 17, wrote & performed first original song at 19. Self-taught guitar at 20. Received formal piano instruction & self-taught fiddle at 32. Lifelong writer of poetry with a focus on rhythm over rhyme. First CD "Loving You" captures versatility in the Americana, Country/Blues and Smooth Jazz genres with an emotional collection of love songs. Influenced by the International Music scene, the Big Band Era and singers such as Martina McBride, Annie Lennox, Grace Slick to name a few.
