Freestyle Nation's first full length project "Freeversation" was released independently in October of 2002. Since then this project has won many over, including the likes of INDIA ARIE..... "I LOVE THIS MUSIC!!!" she says. But India has not only heard the music of Freestyle Nation, but also experienced it. The lead singer, Paul Morton Jr., wrote and produced track 16, "Interested," on India's last project, "Voyage to India." In addition to this, Paul just got of the road with ERYKAH BADU, where he was playing keyboards and singing background vocals for her.
The other members of Freestyle Nation go by the names of Alvin "Cornbread" Garrett on bass, Big Ed on drums, and Jesse Bond on guitar. You can currently catch Cornbread on tour playing and music directing for the big man, RUBEN STUDDARD. Jesse also just got off of the road with ANTHONY HAMILTON.
