These recordings were all captured at my parents âBig Houseâ in Norfolk Virginia. I find that my families home is one of my favorite places in the world to worship. The house is nestled in the heart of Ghent, a historic neighborhood in Norfolk. Ghent is the center for Arts Culture in our city. On Sunday nights we pack the house with beautiful people who are desperate to meet with Jesus. Artists set up easels and sketch pads, dancers carve out space to move, intercessors wet the old hardwoods with their supplication while toddlers scamper around them. The agenda is simple: to wash the feet of Jesus with our worship and to compel the Kingdom which is from Heaven to visit our city. This project consists of three separate evenings of worship at the Big House in 2007. Most of the songs are of a spontaneous nature, an expression of what the Holy Spirit was communicating in that moment through the music. These are some of my most âaliveâ moments when the realities of my faith become as real and tangible as the instrument in my hands. It is my prayer that these songs allow you to peak behind the veil and glimpse the glory that will one day be fully manifested in those are called according to His purpose and pleasure.
