Details:
Audio Armada was an indie rock band existing from 1999-2002. The band regularly opened shows for acts such as Pedro the Lion, Death Cab for Cutie, Her Space Holiday and many other bands in the Salt Lake City area through out their active years. The band split in 2002 after a brief tour through the south west U.S. but the remaining recordings still live on.

1. Alto Jay. Instruments recorded live at the 80 North House, Provo UT during the summer of 2000 on 8-track reel to reel. Vocals and instruments overdubs recorded in the fall of 2000 on a 20-bit digital editor.
2. Backwards Days. Instruments recorded live at the 80 North House during the summer of 2000 8-track reel to reel. Vocals and analog drum delay overdubs recorded in the fall of 2000 on a 20-bit digital editor.
3. Sinking. Instruments recorded live at the 80 North House during the summer of 2000. Vocals and instruments overdubs recorded in the fall of 2000. Additional vocals and remixing done Jan. 2002 in Long Beach, Ca. by Dirk and Kory on a 24-bit digital editor.
4. Conversational Standards. Instruments recorded live at the 80 North House, Provo UT during the summer of 2000 on 8-track reel to reel. Vocals and Rhodes Piano overdubs recorded in the fall of 2000 in San Diego, Ca. on a 20-bit digital editor.

7. Obertin. Instruments recorded live at Studio Y on 24 tracks by Spencer T.A. and Rob Bird in December 1999. Overdubs and additional vocals recorded in January 2000 by Spencer.
8. Letters to Monte Carlo. Recorded live in the 80 North House, Provo UT during the summer of 2000 on 8-track reel to reel, no overdubs were included.
9. Alcor and Mizar. Instruments recorded live at Studio Y on 24 tracks by Spencer the T.A. and Rob Bird in December 1999. Rhodes piano and additional vocals recorded in January 2000 by Spencer. Additional tracks noise and ambient sounds recorded on a 20-bit digital editor in the spring of 2000.
Tracks 10 and 11 were recorded for the full length CD but never used.
10. Deep Inside. Recorded live at the 80 North House, Provo UT during the summer of 2000 on 8-track reel to reel. Additional vocals and remixing done Jan. 2002 in Long Beach, Ca. by Dirk and Kory on a 24-bit digital editor. Muted horn by Scott Sides.
11. K.I.T. Recorded live at the 80 North House, Provo UT during the summer of 2000 on 8-track reel to reel. Additional vocals and remixing done in 2002 in Long Beach, Ca. by Kory.
Track 12 was released as 7â split record w/ Sunsets and Landscapes (2000).
12. TakeNumberNine. Instruments recorded live at Lauraâs house, Provo UT during the winter of 1999 on 8-track reel to reel. Tracks were bounced to stereo and added 2 additional vocal tracks were recorded.
Tracks 13-15 were originally released as a self- titled cassette tape sold at our first shows during the fall of 1999.
13. First Song. Recorded live at Lauraâs house, Provo UT during the winter of 1999 on 8-track reel to reel with no noise reduction. Tracks were bounced to stereo and additional vocal/instrument tracks were added.
14. February First. Recorded live at Lauraâs house, Provo UT during the winter of 1999 on 8-track reel to reel with no noise reduction. Tracks were bounced to stereo and additional vocal/instrument tracks were added.
15. Grey. Recorded live at Lauraâs house, Provo UT during the winter of 1999 on 8-track reel to reel with no noise reduction. Tracks were bounced to stereo and additional vocal/instrument tracks were recorded. Curt sings lead vocals.
Track 16 was recorded entirely by Kory as a demo for the band but never performed by Audio Armada.
