I never set out to record worship music, but God had a plan and as usual His plans are so much more wonderful than our own. WALK ON WATER is the second worship CD recorded to date.

But letâs back up a little. The whole process began with prayer. Friends prayed in 2004 and I began receiving new worship music from the Holy Spirit. It continued with a song for our troops and a vision to get this song and some of the worship music to them, so that by their worship God would grant them greater discernment, protection and swifter victory. A year of searching for how God wanted this done, ultimately led to The Creation Lab recording studio. This result: ASCEND IN WORSHIP and STAND UP.

By the time I had finished recording the songs for ASCEND IN WORSHIP, God had already laid on my heart to keep recording. Now only a fool keeps recording when the first CD not only hasn't sold, but isn't even on the market yet! But I couldn't get away from the feeling that He wanted me to work on a second worship CD, this time with
special songs on it for people going through a difficult time. Its working title was "Crucible Project" for that reason and in April and May 2006, the Lord even gave me
two special songs to be part of it (which I obediently began recording in May 2006), "The Answer Was No" and "Your Timing".

By November 2006 all the initial work on this second worship CD was done. In the meantime it had been named, WALK ON WATER, because when the waves are all around us, threatening to pull us under, all we can do is keep our eyes on Jesus while He empowers us to walk on top of the waves! (There is also a worship song on this CD by the same name.)

In February 2007, I asked the Lord for a song for the families of our fallen heroes. The Lord had given me music and books to provide encouragement to the troops, the children of the deployed, the wounded and our nation. But I told Him, I could not go forward unless He also provided comfort for these families who have paid the ultimate price through a worship song especially for them. God was faithful. The first week of February 2007 before I returned to the studio to begin recording the rock anthem rendition of STAND UP, the LORD filled me with a beautiful song for worshipping in grief, called YOU CARRY ME. In honor of those families the initial recording for this song was also done the same day of President's Day weekend 2007.

Now with this song I suddenly knew why the LORD had had me laboring all the second half of 2006 to record the WALK ON WATER CD. The song, YOU CARRY ME, completed it. All of the songs He had had me record together made a beautiful
worship CD. Had I not obeyed and continued to record, the complete worship CD would not have been ready for YOU CARRY ME to be added to..... How amazing is our GOD! My how He sovereignly plans ahead!

Now this CD is not just for the grieving it is for the worshipper!!!! If you love worship music, if you were blessed by ASCEND IN WORSHIP, you will want to own WALK ON WATER.
