A new breed of talent was brought into this world November 14th, 1980. Born Freddie Walton Jr., son of a jazz musician, visual art and music were always a strong presence for hip hop artist Freed. A native of Fresno, CA now residing in Phoenix Arizona; Freed also known as âFreed the Kreedâ was always viewed as a creative mind having partaken in creative arts since the age of 5.

Currently working on the release his debut album, âThe Glowâ, in addition to heading up a hip hop influenced consultant firm designed to help address obesity with children; Freed is bent on making a strong presence musically and globally in 2008. With exclusive production from Majik of Soundsquad productions who has produced for Jim Jones and Stack Bundles (RIP) and M.Rell (Hot Rod, G-Unit) as well as Phoenix bred Traumah of Traumah Unit Productions, âThe Glowâ promises to be an event more than just a compilation of tracks.

A true visual arts talent would later evolve when Freed became actively involved with writing would soon solidify. âI used to write all types of corny love poems to females I was afraid to approach when I was youngerâ¦â

That form of lyrical conception would eventually grow into an incredible delivery unparalleled yet familiar to true admirers of hip hop music and style. Able to gain confidence through the years through emcee battles and positive feedback through peers and average listeners, Freed decided it was time to truly begin mixing his visual style with lyricism and presentation. Ambition was all it took but there was an even stronger reference for motivation to complete an album that would separate Freed from the rest.
