I once shot England's Queen Mum (a lovely woman). Of course I did the shooting with a camera during my "past life" as a photojournalist.

When I studied journalism, I was taught the expression: "show, don't tell" the facts. Good writing is about creating a picture in the readers mind. That's a habit I brought to writing songs - trying to "show" the subject, not just tell the details.

"Breakfast at Epiphany's" is about those moments when a realization hits you - most often its realizing what a fool you've been. I've had many of those moments. They make great fodder for songs.

Combining traditional acoustic blues with contemporary finger style steel string guitar playing, this cd brings 11 songs of loss and redemption, moments of clarity, and moments of regret.
