Details:
John and Ann Furlough's first son, Ashby John Furlough, born January 22, 1882, married the beautiful Betty Ambrose. Ashby and Betty's consistant devotion to procreation resulted in 9 children and a band that over one hundred years later named themselves after the great Ashby. You may ask why this band carries on the great name of Ashby Furlough; ask and they will not tell you as it is a secret. I personally think the answer lies in the... oh nevermind, that's too obvious.
It has been rumored that this folk flavored posse is now defunct, yet I am told that you can still hear them while planning your financial future in a local bank, while consulting with engineers in a Fortune 500 conference room, while cruising in a Subaru across the country, while playing Squamish in the woods at camp, while driving a tractor on a sod farm, or while getting lost in the mountains of North Carolina. I Wrote My Brother For Advice and he told me to pick up this album. This band has definitely figured out what life is all about. You can find it too. Please visit www.jontroast.com to see when a Subaru is heading to a town near you.
