Self-written and produced, Preston the newest pop sensation, marks his debut with the album âRoll The Diceâ, out now. Combining electro pop grooves, world percussion and lyrics that reflect his experiences and views on life. As a âone man bandâ, Preston uses computer software and a digital studio to produce his music. Whether itâs a full techno instrumental or an accompaniment with lyrics, Preston is always creating new music. You can tell Preston is a fan of all genreâs of music, âRoll The Diceâ has a dazzling array of styles, while at the same time never losing Prestonâs unique sound.

The first song on âRoll The Diceâ is entitled âSingle Sexyâ, which is an anthem for breaking away from drama and confusion in order to figure out who you are as a person. âI was at the point that right after one bad relationship another one would begin, and I was caught on this cycle of never ending rebound. So I decided that for a while Iâd be single and figure out who I am and what I really want.â A music video for âSingle Sexyâ has been released and is viewable on prestoninside.com. "Single Sexy" was directed by The Art Institutesâ Megan Earhart. Preston comments that the video has been a long time coming. âIt took a bit of time at first to figure out how our schedules would be able to merge, but we figured it out and Iâm so happy we got to work together.â Megan Earhart, along with Lauren A. Kartachak from the University of the Arts, shot the photography and design for âRoll The Diceâ. The album itself is about identity and making choices in life. This ranges from sex, break ups, rebounding, blowing off steam and learning from past mistakes without regrets.

Born and raised in Aston, Pa, a very conservative town, his colorful personality always made him stand out. Whether it was dying his hair multiple colors, or doing a comedic skit as Madonnaâs âLike A Virginâ for his high school variety show, which to this day is still talked about. His high-energy performances in college talent shows won him a reputation for being a crowd pleaser as well as a few awards. Preston adds, âI donât want to just be a singer, songwriter/producer. I want to be a part of the entertainment business as a whole. Iâve had limited experience acting, and I would love to develop that part of me. Whether itâs in future film school projects or in a play. Television projects would be awesome and you can bet youâll see me at a few auditions, once I get more experience. However, music is my main focus at the moment and my first loveâ.

Preston discovered his love for music in school plays, choirs, talent shows and also as a DJ at a small local bar. â Being a DJ was great, I liked having that kind of connection with a crowd. Every once in a while Iâd secretly plug in my own stuff to see the crowdâs reaction. I had a lot of fun, but I wanted more, to be in the spotlight and perform my own stuff liveâ. Prestonâs playful comedic attitude and multi faceted sound suggest that were only scratching at the surface with this true chameleon artist, much like the world did when Madonna and Kylie Minogue first came to the music scene. Preston is currently and independent artist, but donât be surprised when he takes the world by storm.
