Rob Guthrie is an award-winning songwriter based in Tuscaloosa, AL. He cut his teeth writing songs with the band Mojo Hand between the years 2001 to 2004, touring from Washington D.C. to Birmingham, and everywhere in between.

Living in Motion is Guthrieâs first official release since Mojo Hand dissolved in 2004. Two songs from the album earned him a spot among the Top 20 finalists in the 2007 Unisong International Songwriting Competition in the categories of âAcoustic Folkâ and âTopical/Political.â This was a huge honor, as Unisong annually accepts between 300 and 500 submissions per category, from songwriters all over the world. The album was recorded at Shamblin Sound Studios in Tuscaloosa, AL in February 2008.
