The youngest of six children, his considerable talents were noticed at an early age when he received a scholarship to study classical voice at the Settlement Music School. From there, he continued to build upon his accomplishments joining the acclaimed African-American opera company, Opera Ebony and gaining a place on the âWhoâs Who in Music among American Studentsâ list. Brimming with confidence, it was no big surprise that Robert Gee was able to put his skills to the test on the ultimate proving ground by winning the world-famous Apollo Theater Amateur Night!

Robert Geeâs stellar talents donât end with singing and songwriting. He is an accomplished actor/dancer who has starred in lead roles for some of the most outstanding productions in theater history such as Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wiz, Ainât Misbehavin, and Pippin. Robert Gee has received rave reviews for his stage work by the LA Times and LA Weekly. He made his screen debut in The Little Richard Story as âBossman.â Most notably, he was nominated for an NAACP Image award in 2006 for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Michael Ajakweâs Body Language.
