Details:
Gary Moon is an acoustic singer-songwriter from Lake George, NY who began performing songs from artists in the folk-rock genre such as James Taylor, Paul Simon, Crosby Stills and Nash and America, all the while sharpening his own writing style and drawing on these influences to craft his own original compositions.

His original songs run the gamut from relationships to the environment; they sometimes hint at tender places in the heart, other times they are simply insightful and introspective.

"If you're a James Taylor fan, you'll be a Gary Moon fan. His songwriting themes tap the same vein, and his voice bears an uncanny similarity to Taylor's." - Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs, NY.

"...he gets so close to Taylor's sound sometimes that it is downright spooky...his originals don't stray far from JT stylistically, but lyrically he has a sharper tongue."
- Bob Smith, for The Chronicle, Glens Falls, NY
