Carlton E. OâNeal a.k.a âSavoâ (Sin Assisted Virtuous Offspring) was born and raised on the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands . After being introduced to hip hop at a tender age, he began to write rhymes which eventually lead to him pursuing a career in hip hop in the secular world. After releasing four CDâs as part of a local rap group; in 2005 he answered the call of God. It didnât take long after giving his life to the Lord that he was called to minister at a local church one Sunday morning through gospel hip hop. As the spirit moved that morning listeners were captivated by the awesome power of God, where it was evident that there was a divine mandate on Savoâs life.

After receiving revelation from God âthat it was more than just musicâ, six months later Savo was called to the pulpit to preach Godâs word. It was then that God revealed his ministry to him; when God told him that he was a âBlessed Barrierâ and that God would use him âto prevent the movement and access of the enemyâ. His passion to help people has provided him the opportunity to minister at various conferences and conventions as well as many Gospel concerts both locally and regionally.

Savo is a member of the Cane Garden Bay Baptist Church in Tortola, British Virgin Islands , under the leadership of Rev Melvin A. Turnbull.

Currently Savo is working on his debut album âThe ChristTime of my Lifetimeâ. His previously released self titled single âDear Godâ, a testimony of how God brought him out of his much bondage continues to declare Godâs goodness to the world. His current single âWhere is your trust?â is a plea for all of us to place our trust and confidence in only Jesus Christ. Equipped with his God given vision âpreventing the movement and access of the enemyâ by Godâs grace Savo will continue to fulfill the will of God for his life as lives continue to be touched through his ministry.
