A born songstress, Sheena began covering songs for local venues across the San Francisco Bay Area at the tender age of 12 years old. By 17 she had already completed her first self-written, self-produced unreleased album.

In January 2003, Sheena performed one of her original songs at a music convention in Los Angeles, CA, where she was picked up by a small Production Company. Sheena and her supportive mother were promised big things through the connections this company provided, and were lured to invest a lot of time and money on the production of a promotional demo featuring three co-written songs, and three music videos to help showcase her to Record Labels and Investors. When promises fell short, and the contract ended, Sheena decided to take her losses and move on to another avenue.

"There are so many financial predators in this industry," Sheena says, "All I could do at that point was learn from it and move forward."

Upon the expiration of her contract with the Production Company, Sheena had caught the eye of a music producer and manager in Los Angeles. More investing, writing and recording followed, and under the stage name of "Dayjah", she finally experienced her first musical release in the feature film "Dr. Dolittle 3", with her song titled "Keep It Bumpin'". Sheena moved to Los Angeles to complete the album following the release, only to face another collapsing project.

"Although this was strike two, being one who is always seeing the silver-lining in any situation, I feel I am now equipped with more experience and knowledge that I couldn't have ever learned any other way".

Now teamed up with a positive and proactive team(MV Entertainment), Sheena is stepping back into the Industry with a whole new perspective. Educated with experience, this singer/songwriter is an up-and-comer with a refreshing attitude, raw talent and driven for success.
