Composer Mer Boel, on violin & voice, is joined by Ruth Roland, violin; Hank Roberts, cello; Chris White, cello; Tim Reppert, bass & voice; Nate Richardson, acoustic guitar; Bill Cowdery, piano; and Jeff Kirby, drums (on Oneonta).

Another fun selection of pieces, with the added joy of piano and guitar and even drums on one track. "Oneonta" has a short vocal chorus with lyrics I wrote to honor my home town in upstate NY, a beautiful place to have grown up in.

"Ruth" was written for Ruth Roland, of course (and we have yet to record her piece "Mer" for me), and "Susan" was composed in memory of Chris White's wife, a lovely person who passed away too soon. "Donia" was a commission to win a woman's heart (so far it is working), and "Joe" I wrote for my ex-boyfriend and previous bandmate of years ago... So this is a very personal collection! And shows the increased complexity of my writing and of the transformation of our sound with the added instruments. Enjoy!
