The disk is a compilation of his favorite Christmas songs. The project was recorded at The Nutt House Studio in Sheffield, AL by engineer Jimmy Nutt, formally of Fame Studios. The project's producer Doug Stokes is a local singer, songwriter, and producer who works with Shoals area giants Gary Baker and Walt Aldridge. The disk entitled "It's Christmas" features 10 crafty and soulful holiday favorites including The Christmas Song, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Please Come Home For Christmas, Winter Wonderland, and more.
Lending their musical talents to the tracks include Shenandoah's Jim Seals, Florence native Scooter Muse, producer Doug Stokes, and several other friends. The project is a mix of jazz, country, celtic, gospel, and even a reggae arrangement of Frosty the Snowman.
The remaining titles are O Come All Ye Faithful, Let It Snow, What Child Is This, O Holy Night-Silent Night Medley, and Jingle Bells. (more later)
