Al Goodwin has been doing stand up comedy since 1991. He started in Washington DC. He moved to New York City, for one year (2003-2004) and became a friar in that timeframe. He recently filmed a sitcom pilot (Mar. 2008) and performs comedy all over the US and abroad.

The CD "Shameless Self-Promotion" was taped on September 10th 2001 at the DC Improv. Yes, the night before 9/11. It contains material that Al Goodwin no longer does in his touring set. It is also a multimedia CD. If you put it into a computer, you have the option of watching a 6 minute video or just listening to the 23 audio tracks.
