César âChinoâ Pérez is one of those former members of âTrabuco Venezolanoâ, who now lives in Europe. He comes from the popular neighbourhood "23 de Enero" in Caracas, Venezuela, where he took his first musical steps as a trombonist.
During his career in Venezuela he was an active member of famous bands such as "Dimensión Latina", "Naty y su Orq.", "Los Melódicos" and the above mentioned "Trabuco Venezolano."
In the summer of 1992 César decided to leave for Europe to broaden his professional knowledge. He entered the Rotterdam Conservatory in Holland, and graduated as a trombone teacher five years later. During that time he appeared on numerous European stages, discovering and learning from different musical influences.
Today, César lives in Germany, where he develops projects with musicians from all over the world.
Since 2001 he has been performing with the band âHeavytonesâ of the successful comedy show "TV Total", which appears nightly on German television. This has given him the opportunity to share the stage with many internationally renowned artists.

The material on this CD is a reflection of the link that exists between my personal experiences and my musical development.
During my stay in Europe, I have become even more aware of the richness of Latin music and its importance throughout the world. Putting out this CD is my way to reaffirm my love for it.

César âChinoâ Pérez otro ex-integrante del âTrabuco Venezolanoâ residenciado en Europa, oriundo de la popular Parroquia â23 de Eneroâ en Caracas, donde tuvo sus primeras experiencias como trombonista.
Durante su trayectoria musical en Venezuela formó parte de afamadas orquestas del momento, tales como: âDimensión Latinaâ, âNaty y su Orq.â, âLos Melódicosâ y el ya mencionado âTrabuco Venezolanoâ.

En Junio de 1992 decidió partir al viejo continente con intenciones de ampliar sus conocimientos como músico, ingresó al Conservatorio de Rotterdam en Holanda y luego de cinco años obtuvo el título de Profesor de Trombón.
Paralelo a sus estudios, participó activamente en la escena europea, teniendo la dicha de conocer y aprender otras tendencias musicales.

César actualmente vive en Alemania, desarrollando diferentes proyectos con músicos del mundo.
Desde el año 2000 forma parte de la Banda âHeavytonesâ la cual aparece diariamente en el show de televisión âTV Totalâ, allí junto a sus colegas, asume la tarea musical de acompañar artistas nacionales e internacionales.

El hacer mi propio trabajo discográfico fue algo realmente excitante, ya desde que comencé con los primeros trámites noté que era el momento, los elementos se encontraban, ¡había química!, mis conversaciones con Javier Plaza, Alberto Naranjo y Perico Ortíz lo reafirmaban, el apoyo era incondicional.

Lo primero era madurar un concepto, comencé haciendo remembranzas de mi infancia, mi familia, el 23, los panas, los vecinos, todos esos elementos que tuvieron que ver con mis primeros pasos, me di cuenta que la música jugó un papel muy importante en mi desarrollo como individuo, ayudó a moldear mi personalidad, mis gustos e inclusive la mayoría de mis vivencias las identifico por medio de ella. Luego traté de hacer un enlace entre estas vivencias y mi trayectoria musical obteniendo así la homogeneidad de este trabajo, el contenido que posee este CD está de una forma u otra relacionado con todos estos elementos, elementos que viven diariamente en mi.

Estar en Europa y compartir con gente de todas partes me ha hecho ver con más claridad la importancia y riqueza de nuestra música latina en el mundo, es por ello que hago este aporte reafirmando así mi amor por ella.
