In the mid-1960's, Guitar blues was the major beginning & continuation of career choice for South Carolina native Jordan Lee, a white guitar player playing in an all black band, (back in a time when that was considered not politically correct)...

By the early 1970's, Lee had already shared the stage with the likes of the legendary Eddie (Knock On Wood) Floyd and rhythm & blues artist, Gary US Bonds among many other notables, gigs obtained when visiting artists learned of Lee's guitar skills, especially in the area of blues...

But meeting with Maceo Parker and James Brown's Famous Flames in 1973 was a major influence in Lee's Career. "I've never seen a tighter band" says Lee, "They performed with an incurable driving passion, a passion that once made The Rolling Stones tremble at the thought of trying follow such an act. This artists taught me the worth of giving everything, everytime"

As for his guitar style, Lee combines guitar bends & standard blues scales, coupled with his signature mandolin-like guitar sound that's distinctly Jordan Lee. You'll hear a lot of this kind of playing throughout this production.

In 1975, Lee started a fresh & new direction in life with his testimony and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. A Christian, Lee continues to perform from his South Florida home base writing and recording both Gospel & blues albums. Recently, during a performance at Florida Atlantic University Lee stated, "My goal is to always give my best for the Lord's purpose, honor and glory...anything less than your best is a sin"

The passion of Lee's music is poured on in full force on this first-time ever all-blues guitar collection, a collection 30 years in the making, with a wide variety of guitar sounds from song to song...
