Inspired by pretty much everything and everyone around him, 20-year-old John Krueger began singing and writing about the same time he started high school. The Strokes and Ben Folds had a huge impact on the Augustan and provided the inspiration for the music on his first album. After releasing a second record, Krueger took some time to do a little more writing and focused on creating songs centered around âa strong chorusâ â something his father taught him about when he gave John The Beatles â1â album. You can hear the influence on his latest release âRock & Rhymeâ which was recorded over the past year in Atlanta, GA with producer/engineer, Jeff Tomei (Smashing Pumpkins, Matchbox Twenty). The new album includes a 20 page photo/art book.
