The multi talents of Dr. Virginia Collins have been translated into these three original compositions. Her dream was to capture the Christmas spirit of the past with a combination of traditional and modern melodic passages in âThe King of Kings is Bornâ, âThis Will be the Christmasâ, (A Tribute to our Troops), and âHello Santaâ.

These dynamic original compositions reflect a new style of creativity, sound and passion to promote peace and joy. Mieleaâs love for the story of the birth of the new born king inspired her to connect history with her creative thoughts. This historical experience was the fundamental structure for this Christmas album - Mielea Kantz: To Honor the New Born King, This Will Be the Christmas, (A Salute to Our Troops), and Hello Santa, reflecting on the beautiful history of Santa Claus.

A musician since the age of three, Miss Kantz shifted gears from being a highly acclaimed teacher and school administrator in Houston Texas, to focus her energy on her lifelong love of music and acting. Most recently, she Co-produced the award winning family film âHollywood: Itâs a Dogâs Life,âcurrently in release. Her acclaimed CD âMielea Kantz: Holiday Songs Of Joyâ has been released around the world.

She was selected for inclusion in Whoâs Who in American Education, Outstanding Young Woman of America, recipient of the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge Teacher Medal Award and the Outstanding Greek Award from the Houston Council of Greek Letter Organizations.
Mielea has performed in churches as organist, pianist and choir director. She is a member of Bellaire United Methodist Church, Past President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., HMAC, and Delta Kappa Gamma International Society - Beta Eta Chapter. More importantly, Mielea has provided support for research at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas.

This artist has worked tirelessly, promoting public service programs, and performing concerts for charity to help improve the quality of life of our citizens.

She has performed on television, filmed in several movies, a Film Documentary for Coastal Enterprise, and commercials. Mielea has performed in various venues across the country.
