ABOUT MAXINNE:

Born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico, Maxinne Lausell was influenced thru music at an early age, yet she didnât realize the effect it would have later on in her life.
Maxinneâs love for music runs in her blood with a family tree that includes great 1930âs Latin composer Rafael Munoz and relatives who have a passion for the musical arts. Her mother and father made poetry, art and romantic Spanish ballads songs a natural part of her life.

It wasnât until her motherâs sudden death that Maxinne reached out to music unconsciously. âI realize now that my motherâs death was my birth into music. Somehow everything that I had been holding inside of me needed to be heard. First I started writing lyrics, melodies then began to flow and finally I had the courage to sing and enjoy being heard".

Maxinne also pursued an acting career in the theater and got the opportunity to work on film but noticed that she was mistaking her true calling. âI learned a lot thru out my years of pursuing acting but I realized that my way of expression was somewhere elseâ. What came naturally to her was making up melodies and having her stories alive with music.

âThru music one can free themselves, I can free my dream world, one that I
hope people can relate to the same way that so many songs from artists helped me grow and cope with my own trials and tribulations."

Maxinne makes her first album debut with âLove is Musicâ, a compilation of eleven songs in english and spanish that take its listeners thru the world of a young womanâs hopes, imagination and her philosophy of love.
