Details:
From the musical city of Seattle, home of the greats, such as Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam, comes The Medication; an Alternative-Punk band that is much more than an over-produced piece of trash. The Medication was born in drummer Nick Del Deganâs garage in the summer of â05 where he was joined by rhythm guitarist and vocalist Clay Schneider. Later to follow were the much needed bass lines of Tyler Heathman and the melodic guitar riffs of Michael Morris. The Medication is all about good music and listening to it (thatâs why our CD is priced at $3.99!). Their latest CD Chemistry Freak is a mixture of ballads that are so powerful they send shivers down your spine and upbeat tunes that make you just want to get up and dance.

Knowing full well that lyrics without meaning are nothing more than words lead singer Clay Schneider demonstrates use of lyrics, rhyme, and melodic harmony to create emotional vocals while providing rhythm guitar. Nickâs hard hitting drums create a wave of pure force that you can feel throughout your body as his vicious, yet creative and controlled, beats add to the first half of the rhythm section. Unlike most drummers though, Nick is excellent at not only rhythm but melody as well supplying backing vocals and piano. To aid Nick in his quest for groove, Tyler Heathman provides bass lines that mix high fret playing and deep warm lows to develop a signature playing style that is like no other. Still, the puzzle is still not complete, needing the last piece who is Michael Morris. His lead guitar riffs mesh perfectly with the rest of the band to make melodic licks that are sweet but with enough edge to have the ultimate blend of tone.

The Medication is:

Clay Schneider â Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar

Nick Del Degan â Drums, Backing Vocals, Piano

Tyler Heathman â Bass

Michael Morris â Lead Guitar
