A more balanced affair than the 5-Songs EP (2003), Floods + Fires is a dynamic set that pits the band's penchant for noisy, double-time, indie-rock assaults against slower-tempo pop, quiet melodies, and hints of twang. In the end, Floods + Fires is about conflict and the energy that conflict creates...and ultimately takes away.

The CD was recorded with Mike Quinn (Reverse) at the Moontower Studio. Gatsby is independently releasing it. Gatsby is looking forward to hitting the road in 2005 and releasing a follow-up EP by year's end
