In just over a year of playing as a unit, Street Circus' distinctive sound has had them playing for audiences from Central America to up and down the East Coast. Inspite of changes at the Drummer position and an ill-fated practice space fire that left all of their equipment in ashes, the Circus charged into the studio and completed their independently produced debut album CREATURE FEATURE in just under nine days.

Touted as "one of only a very few Savannah original bands that has a sound and stage show seemingly on the verge of some kind of commercial success"(Port Life Journal),Beat Box prodigy and vocal weapon Pat "Ringmaster Slip" Hinnegan leads this five piece through one fearlessly original song after another. Pat and Guitarist Mike Goldstein honed their sound in Philly before Goldstein relocated to Savannah to study Sound Design at The Savannah College of Art & Design. Pat soon followed and while the duo began making a name for themselves in the local music scene, they met other recent transplants Bassist Ben Bowne and Trumpet/Keyboardist Jim Shaffer. They quickly began transforming Pat and Mike's duo work into a five piece effort and Street Circus Symphony was born. Inspired by the cacophony of sounds eminating from the streets, Bassist Ben Bowne had formed the name Street Circus Symphony while living in Harlem around the start of this new millenium.

These five musicians from Philly, Austin, Cleveland and new Drummer Alan Sumrell from Wichita, stand on the shoulders of their wide array of influences including Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Louis Armstrong, Queen, At the Drive-In, Sly and The Family Stone, to bring a fresh, uplifting brand of Funk Rock to the peoples.

The Creature Feature Tour packs up the freaks and rolls out of Savannah in June 2008.
