While hosting a party at her swank loft in Los Angeles, Manananaan, a beautiful poet, is kidnapped by an Irish Vampire named Vanquo, he takes her back to his castle in Ireland, forcing her sister, Mara, to a journey to the far away Emerald Isle, the land of their Ancestors, in an attempt to rescue her.

When Mara arrives on the green shores, the luck of the Irish turns against her, and her beloved family starts dropping like flies, victim of the vampires residing in the region. Mara must resist the powerful sensual allure of the demons of darkness and focus to capture the secret serum that holds the promise of immortality in order to save her family, and before it falls into the vampires' hands and threatens to unleash a reign of terror.

With creatures, faeries, mad scientists, castles, twins, leprechauns, and a lot of blood, this surreal, mystical fantasy with a generous dose of humor depicts a fight between good and evil, with the heart of Ireland as its prize.
