Details:
Having been alive since the dawn of civilization has its ups and downs. G-Clef da Mad Komposa, aka Amadeus Melchizedek has finally seen fit to lay down some of his observations from his vast experience on the planet known as Earth. Verbal Alchemy at its best from a true veteran of Hip-Hop's most classic era, yet it's still way ahead of its time today in 2002!

G-Clef da Mad Komposa, aka Amadeus Melchizedek, is the founder, producer, and visionary behind both the Soul Kid Klik and Soul Kid Records. The artist formerly known as G-Clef seeks now to unite the world utilizing modern-day hip-hop, so that the planet we refer to as earth may take its rightful place in the universe. Having been alive since almost the dawn of civilization, he has added to his mastery of beatmaking, a new form of lyrical skills he calls verbal alchemy.

While signed to Tuff City Records in the early 1990's, he led, rhymed in, played saxophone in, and produced for, an innovative group called Ghetto Philharmonic. After experiences reminiscent of those of Prince Rakeem and Genius of the Wu-Tang Clan, he too constructed a plan to forever liberate himself and his peers from the trials of being a slave to the music industry. After shopping demo after demo of his artists, he had scored some near-misses, and even some development deals, but when the dust cleared, still no secure home for his artists.

After his experiences with Ghetto Philharmonic, he had no money, but had made some contacts in the form of other artists and producers he met on shows and various promotional events. He met the Genius/Gza while they were doing radio shows together to promote their respective releases. After seeing the G.P. video on Video Music Box in New York City, one of GZA Entertainment's management team called G-Clef, and asked if he needed representation. G-Clef directed their attention to his new project, The Soul Kid Klik, a group of all his artists together-as-one, as well as solo. Thus, came the inspiration to do-it-himself.

In 1995, G-Clef released the banging cipher cut Mortal Combat, an exploration of the "Deadly Video Game" chamber of lyricism. He produced the illest and most visual journey Hip-Hop has ever known, featuring himself, four other emcees, as well as DJ Spinbad from Ghetto Philharmonic fame.

Also, be sure to check out G-Clef da Mad Komposa's new breakbeat CD, G-Clef's Jazzy Breaks on Yalloppin Entertainment/Soul Kid Records.
