Gini Wilson, The Duchess, is legendary in the Bay Area as a brilliant jazz pianist, entertainer and composer. The San Francisco ChamberJazz Quartet, formerly The Gini Wilson Quartet, has made waves in the San Francisco area and nationally. Their concerts and debut album The Crossing Point have received wide national acclaim: " Enormously gifted Bay-Area pianist and composer Gini Wilson puts her own spin on an eclectiv repertoire...music this tasteful and accomplished cannot be bound by genres" Ken Hohman, All about Jazz. Co-founder of the SFCJQ, saxophonist and composer Steve Heckman "creates an extravaganza of beautiful tenor playing", and has performed with such as Howard McGee, Roswell Rudd, Andrew Hill, Bennie Green and many other.
Pat Klobas is known as a creative bass player and composer in both classical and jazz fields from the SF Opera to The American Jazz Philharmonic. Drummer Ron Marabuto worked in NYC with Pepper Adams, Roland Hanna and Rufus Reid.
