Strong J (formerly Optiq) has been writing rhymes since his early teen years. With a lyrical delivery that is hand crafted for each beat, it is difficult to associate Optiq with a specific style. Always expect to hear something different with each track.
Hailing from Seatown, Optiq was originally born in B-more and spent much of his youth near Oakland, CA. As a result, his influences include everybody from Jay-Z, Jadakiss, LL and Biggie, to Guru, to Del, Luniz, and E-40. And that's just from the hip-hop arena.
