FOLK: Folk Pop, COUNTRY: Country Folk

Details:
Beyond the great songwriting, Joe has brought some great players and singers onto this project. Richard Shindell lends harmony vocals throughout, and a little guitar to boot. Karen Nash, Jeannette Miller, Dan Pelletier, and Susan McKeown also add some nice harmony, while Lindsey Horner, Greg Anderson, Jeff Berman, and Lisa Gutkin all lay down the grooves. Joe's guitar playing can't be underestimated either, as he adds two great instrumental guitar pieces to the mix.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Joe's writing has been described as "somehow simultaneously quirky and classic" and touches upon topics that range from debating the existence of God to the existence of Elvis. His 'two-handed' guitar style draws from influences from the New Acoustic genre and artists such as Michael Hedges and Preston Reed.
