Founder and bandleader of âFull Circleâ, a Nepali acoustic band blending traditional instruments with western folk/pop crossover; Regularly performed with âFull Circleâ for twelve years in India and Nepal (1995-2005) Following an invitation from a UK-based NGO, performed in London as part of a charity event to raise funds for disadvantaged children in Nepal (November - December 2004); Performed at Festivals and Concerts in London-Malaysia-India-Bhutan-Nepal-Kenya. Performed at 5600-meter altitude on the peak of Kalapathar, overlooking Mount Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas, Nepal. (October, 2005); Self produced a music documentary entitled âMountain of Truthâ, documenting the challenge of high altitude trekking and playing my songs on the different parts of the journey. (October/November 2005). Won the award for âBest Song in a Foreign Languageâ category at the HITS FM annual music awards in Nepal (2003); Featured in various local (Indian, Nepali) and international press reviews, including in the âMusicianâs Magazineâ, a billboard publication in the USA, March 1999. Composed and Produced two albums âFree your Mindâ (2004) and âThe Answerâ (2005) featuring 17 of my songs. Member of the âdrum Caféâ workshop held at the Alliance francaise, 18 September-Nairobi, Kenya. Currently working on my new project in collaboration with traditional musicians and Singers of Kenya. Also working with a newly formed world-fusion group known as âKachumbariâ with members from India/England/Kenya (performed for the South Asian festival At the Godown Arts Centre, November-2006)
