Red Eye Max is a blues/rock and country group located in Bloomington IN. The band has been together for 4 years and performs blues/rock and country cover songs mixed with their new CD of original music. Red Eye Max considers themselves to be an "American Rock" band with influences such as John Mellencamp, Larry Crane, John Prine, SRV, Johnny Cash, Steve Earl, and ZZ Top to name a few. Their first CD âTrue Storyâ is a mixture of âMid-West American Rockâ coupled with their influences of country and blues. The songs touch on the all to familiar subject of love and loss, good clean drinking fun, growing up in âsmall townâ America, and even the bands patriotic take on a soldiers life during the war.
