"I'd like to belive I'm a storyteller", said Savage "and I really want the listener to feel the emotion of a song. I love the passion of music. The best quick example is "The Diamond", a song about Alzheimers. One lady told me she couldn't imagine anyone hearing the song without getting tears in their eyes. Another would be "Dream Ireland". Initially I was actually afraid of this song. Although done with no backup, the brutal honesty really hits home to those who have heard it."
