The No Uranium Song by singer-songwriter Russ Hopkins has been released in support of Coloradoans Against Resource Destruction. âI wrote the song after being asked by Lloyd Drust to perform a benefit in support of people who are trying to bring information about uranium mining in northern Colorado to the publicâ says Hopkins. âAfter digging around myself for information this song just fell out. I offer it as a humble contribution toward public awareness and dialog on this issue.â added Hopkins.

âEvery musician I approached was more than willing to donate their time and talents for this benefitâ said Lloyd Drust, organizer of The No Glow Concert in Fort Collins, Colorado on March 2, 2008. "In the 39 years I have lived in Fort Collins, I can't recall a proposed project that could offer the region so little in economic gain with so much potential risk to the environment and our quality of life."

Joining Russ on this recording is Jerry Palmer playing lap steel guitar.
