Exposed to the music business at a very early age, Robin Glaysher's fondest childhood memories include going to jazz clubs, symphonies, major pop-rock concerts and recording studios in Madrid, Spain. Growing up around music as an American in Europe revealed to Glaysher how music is a universal language that can bridge communication gaps between cultures and individuals as well as serve to examine or highlight particular moments in life.

Glaysher's view of songwriting is to capture real emotions and deliver them in musically interesting formats. Whereas the majority of her song ideas come from practical everyday life experiences, a predominant theme she wishes to convey is that of individual and collective freedoms. She strives to communicate her eclectic point of view by combining different musical elements that match her particular message along with crafting inspiring lyrics a variety of audiences can identify with.

The styles and attitudes of Sting and Weezer heavily influence Glaysher during her creative process, yet she is more interested in forging her own path by developing her own concepts and being forthright and daring with her musical compositions.
